NEELBAGH RURAL SCHOOL
ABOUT US
"Ashraya" meaning 'shelter', was founded and registered in 1982 and has since then brought hope and love into the lives of many children and adults. Ashraya is committed to alleviate the sufferings of women and children in distress through our various programs.
Social Impact
The Neelbagh school project has brought smiles in the faces of the underprivileged children and their families. Absence of Neelbagh School in this region would have deprived 3500 beneficiaries the access to education, for instance the government primary school in Guntapali can accommodate a maximum of 40 students but 418 students are studying at Neelbagh school.
The project has created new inroads in the area of education by making education accessible for the underprivileged rural children. The passion of the staff, volunteers and all the other individuals involved in the project is truly inspiring. The Neelbagh project is a path breaker in the field of education and many such schools should be set up in rural areas all over the country which would benefit the rural population to a large extent.
